Mamutik Island isn’t as famous as the other islands within the TAR Park for some reasons and that makes it the less crowded beach and more quiet. It is the smallest island in TAR Park while the snorkeling experience won’t be as good as the other islands and the waves is a bit rougher too. However, the beach is among the most beautiful.
Attraction: Water and beach activities (limited), scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, camping, jungle trekking.
Accommodation: No accommodation available on this island but camping is allowed upon permission
Entry Fee: Boat transfer is RM30/roundtrip. Small entry fee to the island applies too for conservation purposes. There are packages offered by tour operators (located at the Jesselton Point) that covers boat transfer, entrance fee, lunch meal, snorkeling gear and guide services which cost almost the same if you were to arrange the whole things yourself. Camping is allowed too and charges apply. Island hopping tour is available too.
