It’s the only highland dairy farm in Malaysia, also known as mini New Zealand due to its natural landscape, which is located just at the foot of the majestic Mount Kinabalu. The cows are also the from the same breed, which is Holstein Friesian that was actually brought all the way from New Zealand itself.
Supplying nearly 1 million litter of milk for the local Sabahan market, Desa Farm milk it’s actually the most popular in Sabah due to its taste and freshness. Other milk products produced are gelatos, frozen yoghurt ice-cream and few type cheese but sadly they are not being commercialised yet. It’s only the milk available in the major supermarket, while for the other products, you’ll have to visit the farm all the way in Kundasang. Another thing, this brand is only supplied in Sabah and Desa Dairy Parm is one of the top tourist destinations in Sabah.
