It located in Gomantong Forest Reserve Class VI (Virgin Forest) with an area of 3,297 hectares, in Kinabatangan District. There are at least 19 caves in this area and Gomantong is the biggest cave in Sabah. Gomantong is more well-known with its fine bird nest produce. Only limited area is open for exploration, more than that, permit is required. Basic amenities provided, such as meeting rooms, administrative offices, exhibition rooms, prayer room, a canteen and pubic toilet.
