"Kota Kinabalu is blessed with the beautiful nature that surrounds it"

Kota Kinabalu is a small coastal modern city with over 400 000 inhabitants (that lives in the Greater Kota Kinabalu city). It is located just right by the South Chinese Sea where the water is blue, the marine life is rich and diverse and also gated by a few beautiful islands of the TAR Park. Being a city in a tropical island, the city is surrounded by one of the oldest tropical jungle in the world, older than the Amazon. The beaches are beautiful, the cultures are diverse and unique, the food, especially the seafood is among the best in the country, as it is cheap and fresh right from the sea.

"... it's a prety liveable city ..."

The life in Kota Kinabalu is quite relaxing and laidback, the people are friendly and welcoming. The city is also clean, has a very low crime rates, and goods healthcare system except for the public transport that needs a lot of improvement. The nightlife is quite vibrant too with many bars and clubs are concentrated by the waterfront area.
