Bohey Dulang Island is a mountainous island with a majestic crater formed by volcano explosion over 2 million years ago. It is located within the Tun Sakaran Marine Park and technically linked to two other islands, Bodgaya Island and Tetagan Island. The marine life is much richer than any other island in Malaysia, that’s included Sipadan Island as well.
Hiking and photography are among the top activity in here, the mountain peak is 353 meter that and the hiking trail is 600 meters long. The reward of the hiking is the majestic bird eye view of the islands water and its crater. Bohey Duland Island is a bird-watching spot too as it used to be a bird sanctuary island until it was revoked when it was gazetted as part of the Tun Sakaran Marine Park in 1978.
