It is actually known as Tanjung Lipat beach, located along the Likas Bay coast-way, it has few recreational activities such as running and cycling track, 2 separate kids playgrounds, barbecue facilities. There are beaches as well but so ideal for swimming activity due to shallow water and a river and drain that flow into its water area. Be careful with the lagoon behind the beach or on the other side of the road, there had been few crocodile sighting. You probably would still see people fishing and littering being in the water but just be careful.
It’s still perfect for other beach activity, wind for kite surfing, board stand-up paddle and kayaking. During the monsoon season, which is in Nov and Dec, the waves are big enough that you could see many people doing wave surfing.
